I do not think it should be that way, what do you believe?? I don’t have alot of funds nor does my household but i consider my family “high class” for other reasons.

Tha is not essential the case. Some poor individuals are born with class. I admire you for contemplating your family high class for reasons other than how significantly cash they have.

I don’t know why, but you’re right, it does seem to be that way. To me personally, education matters more than anything else in determining how much class a person has. I’ve met rich people who, to me, didn’t show that much class, because they were ignorant. But, then most of the time the opposite is true. It’s usually the lower income people that lack class, because they lack education.
You can consider your family high class if you want to. You go!
I don’t think most people see it that way. Upper class just means that they are in the upper class (group) of financial wealth. High class, is just describing someone’ personality. For instance, Paris Hilton is “upper class” financially, but she certainly would not be referred to as “high class” by most peoples standards.
I think you already have the answer to your own question! The notions of “class” are just pretentious anachronisms these days.
I think people just like to be around money, because they think they are going to get some of it. Well I have seen some people with money and they are real jackasses and that means no class at all.
Because we live in a capitalist country, where money equals success. I do think that you’re confusing the two definitions of class, though–class can either mean how much money you make and how it allows you to live, or it can mean how much personal class you have as a quality. You can be in a low income class and still have plenty of class yourself!!
